Over the past two years alone, the volume of bilateral Turkish-Russian trade grew 30 percent to 10 billion US dollars, while Turkish investment in the Russian economy stands at over two billion US dollars. Furthermore, the projected voume for the upcoming year is proposed to be 15 billion US dollars.

While energy resources make up most of imports from Russia, Turkish manufactured exports largely consist of textiles.

Turkish-Russian Business Councils are creating sub-committees to develop relations with Moscow, St Petersburg and other regions of Russia.

In the mean time, Turkish contractors who have successfully handled $12.3 billion contracts in Russia in the last 15 years occupy a very strong position in the Russian construction market.

Parallel to the development of bilateral cooperation between two countries, there has been a huge demand of middle class office & showroom space especially coming from Turkish Middle Scale Producers who want to take place in the Russian Market.
